We sent postcards to the entire Freshman class as a part of ongoing efforts to help students feel connected. Research indicates that feelings of connection within a community are a protective factor for mental health.
One of the be nice. students said, "It felt so good to write these!! This was such a cool opportunity. Thanks!" The students who took part in writing the notes found that they were encouraged in the process as well. Here are some pictures of our students preparing and sending the good news:)
